Sally Butcher runs the acclaimed Persian food store Persepolis in London. Her first book, Persia in Peckham, was published to critical acclaim and short-listed for the 2008 Andre Simon Award. Her second book, Veggiestan, also published by Pavilion, was shortlisted for the Guild of Food Writers' cookery book of the year award and has also been hugely successful.
