Antonio Carluccio is one of the UK's most loved food personalities. He is author of 13 books on Italian cooking, including Simple Cooking, Two Greedy Italians and Two Greedy Italians Eat Italy and is a seasoned television presenter and founder of Carluccio's Caf . He lives in London. In 1998, Antonio was awarded the Commendatore OMRI by the President of Italy for services to Italian gastronomy, the equivalent of a British knighthood. In 2007 he was awarded an honorary Order of the British Empire (OBE) by the Queen.
