Todd Porter and Diane Cu of the popular food blog White on Rice Couple are in this company. Approached many times over the years by other publishers to do a book, they have turned them all politely down, insisting they weren't ready yet to tackle the project. They are ready now and we are thrilled to be their publisher. White on Rice Couple is a highly successful cooking and photography blog run by Todd Porter and Diane Cu. The name of the blog comes from their multicultural differences (Todd is from a cattle ranch in North Eastern Oregon and Diane escaped to the United States with her family from Vietnam via a refugee camp in Guam). They started the blog in 2008 and it commands a large presence on the web with almost 500K unique views a month. They are professional photographers and stylists and have photographed and styled many cookbooks together, but this will be the first time they are the source behind the 175 seasonal recipes. Using vegetables and fruit as the star of the show, this cookbook will be chock full of fresh ideas for healthy eating with an emphasis on local and organic as well as some Asian flavours.
