Description

Julie Biuso at Home captures a slice of life with this international award-winning food writer, traversing the seasons with her family, friends, chickens and vegetable garden as a backdrop. While Julie is highly regarded for her well-constructed and thoroughly tested recipes, in her latest book - her most ambitious project to date - she offers so much more. Alongside over 270 delicious meal ideas, she shares her extensive food knowledge and a host of useful cooking tips in a comprehensive 32-page Cook's Notes section at the back of the book, all delivered in her signature conversational and accessible style. In the recipes you'll find inspiration for every aspect of a family's culinary calendar - from the simple mid-week meal to long lunches with friends; from scrumptious weekend breakfasts to impressive nibbles to serve with drinks, as well as show-stopper desserts for dinner parties. Not only will you find a recipe for a roast, but also a sauce to finish it off. And there is a whole chapter of vegetable dishes, and sensational salads. Plus plenty of good home baking to fill the tins. So pull up a chair at her kitchen table and get inspired...
