Author(s): Elizabeth Lind

New Zealand | French | Second Helpings

La Cigale French Market and Bistro is a popular spot in Auckland's Parnell. People come from many miles away to buy fresh produce and imported French goods, and to sample the fare on offer through the stalls and at the cafe and shop that form La Cigale. This book tells the story of how Kiwi couple Elizabeth and Mike Lind turned their love of France into a viable business. Their passion for food is evident throughout, as recipes for the dishes they tried while travelling are scattered throughout, as well as more formal recipe sections, and profiles of their local stallholders
